Dematerialisierung durch E-Paper?
Electronic paper, short form: e-Paper, is a vision, which has been approached by different companies for a while. If this technological innovation reaches the market stadium, which is expected within the next three to five years, in the long-term the technological basis of the newspaper, magazine and maybe also the book market might change fundamentally. How e-Paper could change the usage of media, to which degree chances for sustainable media usage might be realised, which factors determine the ecological profile and which action is needed before it will be introduced into the market, is investigated in the following case study. It is part of the project "E-nnovation", funded by the German Ministry for Education and Science.
