Sabine Flores is Managing Director of the IZT
Last week, Sabine Flores was appointed as an additional managing director of the IZT - Institut für Zukunftsstudien und Technologiebewertung gemeinnützige GmbH in Berlin, alongside Dr. Roland Nolte.
The collaboration at the institute's management level with Scientific Director Prof. Dr. Stephan Rammler has proven successful over the past two and a half years. She already worked as an authorized signatory at the IZT since 2019.
Dr. Roland Nolte and Prof. Dr. Stephan Rammler in a joint statement: "We are very happy about the appointment of Sabine Flores as a further managing director. Her creative thinking, motivation and empathy have already helped to rethink the institute in recent years and at the same time make it more resilient."
The linguist and cultural scientist was previously managing director of the municipalities in the metropolitan region of Metropolregion Hannover Braunschweig Göttingen Wolfsburg, focusing on the topics of transport and electromobility as well as internationalization. She has a high level of intercultural competence and lively networks, especially at the municipal level in Germany and abroad. Increasingly, she has also been active in an advisory role on socially relevant issues and brings with her many years of expertise in project and network management.
