About

  • Felix Sühlmann-Faul is a research associate at the IZT since August 2020 and works in the "digitalization" team.
  • Since 2016 he has been a freelance technology sociologist, consultant, speaker and author specialized in digitization and sustainability. He advises i.a. the German Sustainability Award and various factions of the German Bundestag.
  • Currently he is working on his doctorate on data protection in the age of digital capitalis.
  • In 2018, his book "Der blinde Fleck der Digitalisierung" (co-author Stephan Rammler) was published by Oekom-Verlag.
  • 2010 - 2016 Felix Sühlmann-Faul was project manager for accompanying social science research at the Institute for Transportation Design in Braunschweig.
  • In the years 2006 - 2009 he worked as a test manager in Daimler customer research. There he also wrote his master's thesis in sociology "Technikinnovation und ökologisches Mobilitätsverhalten".
  • He finished his Master's degree in sociology and political science at the University of Stuttgart in 2009.
