Final conference of the Project Agency Vocational Training for Sustainable Development
The aim of the project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is to The aim of the PA-BBNE project of the partner network Vocational Education and Training at the IZT is, To produce materials on vocational education and training for sustainable development (VET) for around 100 occupational profiles.
Since a resolution of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in 2021, all amended training regulations must include, among other things, the new standard occupational profile item "environmental protection and sustainability". With which courses of action and concepts we can achieve this, how sustainability can be integrated into our modern society with its diverse perspectives and economy and what role the The question of how the various occupational profiles play a role in this is still largely open. In order to approach these questions and to provide impulses and orientation on how sustainability can be integrated into the various occupational profiles, the project agency has examined dual training programmes from two sides:
- For in-company training, sustainability was operationalised taking into account the training regulations.
- For vocational education and training, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were used to show which topics are relevant for the respective occupational profile.
At the final conference, we want to present the results and share with you exchange ideas. You can expect contributions on education for sustainable development, Discussions on the status quo and a look at sustainable vocational training in the future.
