Together with the center for future technologies of Berlin’s Chamber of Crafts, scientists develop a new training concept. The target group are master craftswomen and craftsmen, architects and engineers, who undergo training to qualify as certified building energy consultants. Simultaneously the project addresses the lecturers of the training. The newly developed multimedia learning materials are stored in a platform-independent repository. An innovative learning companion application supports learners. Via learning analytics the learning success and the use of the materials are tracked. These results provide helpful advice to participants for the following learning steps.
IZT works on inter- and transdisciplinary futures studies, sustainability design and technology assessment. It also investigates early identification of opportunities and risks, with a focus on transformation, participation and stakeholder integration.
