LogMySelf – Discourse with young people about self-measurement
The term "Lifelogging" describes the phenomenon of measuring, recording and sharing personal health data. The discourse project "LogMySelf" intends to introduce adolescents to the benefits and risks of "lifelogging" and provide them with new skills in this area. The measured data contains information beyond pulse rate and jogging distance, such as emotional states like joy or sadness.
The project will initially develop two pilot seminars. Following this, we will provide a toolbox with multimedia content for curricular and extracurricular education. Simultaneously, we want to hold a representative survey for adolescents and young adults to learn more information about Lifelogging in their age group. A writing contest for young bloggers will be held to distribute the project results and spread the perceptions young people have about the popular "Lifelogging".
