Abstract
What potential does NIRS technology offer for the application of organic fertilisers? How do farmers and contractors as (potential) users assess the technology? This was investigated as part of the Agro-Nordwest experimental field. It was determined which advantages and opportunities farmers see in the use of NIRS technology, but also which disadvantages and risks may be associated with it. In order to support a demand-oriented further development of near-infrared spectroscopy for slurry application, requirements from the side of practice are described.
