Abstract
The report deals with the use and benefits of steering systems for small and medium-sized farms. It looks at the assessments and requirements of farmers and contractors as users of this technology. In a focus group as well as in numerous interviews it was determined which advantages the users expect from the use of steering systems, but also which deficits and obstacles are seen. The focus is on user requirements for parallel driving systems, especially with regard to less digitised farms.
