Abstract
With a view to a time after Corona, the question must be asked, especially against the backdrop of the virulent climate crisis, what we as a society can learn from the COVID-19 experience. Global CO2 emissions dropped significantly at the height of the "Corona crisis", partly because flexible work structures with more home offices mean less commuting. The home office is a way to permanently relieve congested and polluted cities and reduce emissions in the transport sector. This study aims to answer the question: How many CO2 emissions can be saved through home office?
