Abstract
The learning unit "Thermal Insulation Materials" describes how thermal insulation works and gives an overview of the physical properties of thermal insulation materials and their technical areas of application. In addition, the thermal insulation materials are categorised according to their origin and manufacturing processes and presented in detail. An ecological assessment of the thermal insulation materials is also provided.Authors
