The "Zero Waste" mission statement is an elementary component of the Berlin coalition agreement (2016-2021). A key measure for achieving this is the reuse of products - however, hardly any products have been reused to date. Like its predecessor projects "Investigation into the reuse of used goods" (2017) and "Zero Waste Berlin" (2018), the Re-Use Berlin 2019 project therefore aims to increase the reuse of used goods in Berlin. To this end, comprehensive operational and conceptual measures are planned that build on the completed projects.
